How to use this book
Once you have read the early sections of this book about the multiple choice test it is time to undertake the 12 quizzes that form the quiz programme. However, before you undertake any quiz in this programme you will need to read the appropriate section or sections of the Highway Code as stated at the start of each quiz. Consequently, you will need to buy a copy of the Highway Code or visit www.learnerdriving.com to view an online copy of this publication. Unfortunately not all the theory necessary to pass this test can be found in the Highway Code. Consequently, we have included a set of supplementary notes on the website for you to read before you embark upon quiz 12. Quiz 12 contains all the official questions not answered by the Highway Code.
To answer any quiz simply take a piece of paper and write down which of the answers to each question you think are correct. If you are unsure of any answer place an asterisk or question mark next to that answer for later review. You can then check your answers by referring to the quiz answers section at the back of this book. Revise the appropriate Highway Code rule, sign, annex or supplementary note of those questions incorrectly answered or that you were unsure about as denoted by the asterisk or question mark. Make a list of the question numbers and then use this list to revise the questions and correct answers just prior to the test. If you have difficulty remembering the answers to any particular question write out the question and correct answer or answers in full. The physical task of doing this will help you to memorise the correct answers to these final questions.
