Important news about the new Theory Test in 2012
The Road Safety Minister, Mike Penning, has announced that the currently published Official DSA Theory Test questions will no longer be used in real tests from 23rd January 2012.
“Stopping the publication of the real questions and answers will mean that candidates will have to understand the theory rather than memorise which answers to choose in the multiple choice section.”

Therefore from 23rd January 2012 the Official DSA Theory Test questions published will definitely not appear in the actual test and the only certain way of passing will be to follow a well designed learning programme such as those found in the theory test products provided by LDC. A new databank of unpublished questions will be used in the Theory Test from the 23rd January 2012. From this point no products will contain the actual questions that appear in the test. As part of these improvements newer more difficult case studies have also been introduced into the test again emphasising the need to properly learn and understand the theory aspect of driving and riding.
