I’ve passed my driving test yesterday with the help of Edgar, a brilliant instructor in Birmingham who is very patient , calm and punctual. He is unbelievably patient even though I have repeated some mistakes many times. I have never seen him frustrated and he never ever spoke harshly to me. I needed to work on roundabouts and did not understand the importance of road markings and using the correct lanes. Edgar explained it to me in a very nice and calm manner and then asked me to sit in the passenger seat. He drove the car and asked me to instruct him when approaching roundabouts. His trick amazingly worked for me as I found it very easy to drive and join the traffic on the roundabouts afterwards. Moreover his aim wasn’t just to make me able to pass the driving test but he really wanted to help me to become a safe driver so that I can keep myself and other road users safe. After each driving lesson we discussed my weak points and together we set goals to try to achieve at the next driving lesson. He asked me me to watch specific LDC videos on YouTube so that I can understand it properly and that was very helpful. My previous instructor did not point out my mistakes, so I never knew if I was doing anything wrong. Edgar never showed me anger and never made me feel uncomfortable and I always finished my every lesson with a smile. I am fully satisfied with the way he helped me to develop my driving skills which I know will benefit me going forward.
