As a retiring Police Officer I was looking to start a new career. I decided that becoming a driving instructor was the best choice and so began to explore the market to find a suitable company to train with. After some considerable consideration I settled on LDC and was assigned to my tutor Pat Firth.

From the outset I have found Pat to be a most professional and knowledgeable instructor. She is alway punctual for the lesson with the car being clean and tidy. This always starts me off in the right frame of mind for each lesson.

Being a police driver trainer I have been trained over a 28 year period in a very different style of driving. This has meant that some of the 'police' driving and training habits I have are not conducive with those required by the DVSA.

I have not always been quick in picking up the DVSA training methods and have sometimes become a little frustrated with myself. However Pat has always remained calm and professional and introduced an element of levity when required.

Pat has constantly tailored the pace of the course to suit both my needs and learning ability. She is always looking to find the right training method to get the message across and keep me motivated and moving forward.

I am now about to take my Part 3 Test to become an A.D.I. and feel that I could not have ask for a better tutor. Wether teaching P.D.I.'s or learner drivers I believe that Pat would be an excellent choice for the job.
