Jake Greene - Bishop's Stortford

I started driving at 18, as most do, but never managed to reach test standard and stopped taking lessons. Nine years later, I knew I had to try again. This time, with a lot less confidence and a fear of the road so it wasn't going to be easy.

I began taking lessons with Ken Bertram halfway through 2011. It has to be said - this man has the patience of a saint! He is a very skilled and professional driving instructor who taught me to drive safely while also building up my confidence. Five months, a few tests and a pass-plus later, I am at the stage where I would be happy to go out and buy a car, knowing that I now have the necessary skills and road-awareness to drive safely and confidently. Driving never came naturally to me so teaching me was not going to be the easiest task! Ken has definitely succeeded where others failed.
