Derek has been a brilliant driving instructor. His calm and professional approach to instructing throughout my lessons were highly beneficial in me feeling confident as a driver. His ability to create a relaxed atmosphere was essential as I was more than a bit nervous having no previous driving experience when I first started. I found it extremely helpful having the LDC book as well. This meant I had an idea of how future lessons would be constructed and Derek's guidance along with this meant that I felt more than prepared for each lesson.

I also found his feedback after lessons (especially the mock tests) highly beneficial in allowing me to know what areas to work on. As I became more confident with my driving skills, Derek encouraged me to construct my own lessons so I felt I was working on the areas that needed working on, but also, he would at times encourage me to push myself. I'll be recommending Derek to my family and friends in the future.
