Before Derek I had a previous instructor who I did not feel was pushing me hard enough. I was then recommended Derek by a friend and straight away I could feel myself improving faster. He is patient and always provides constructive criticism where needed. I had a lot of trouble with reversing round a corner and he provided me with lessons purely focusing on this for a while (which I got in my test and passed on). He is attentive and pushes you to turn your weaknesses into strengths. I strongly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to drive!
