When learning with yourself I found it fairly easy to pick up the basic skills of driving at the early stages of learning (ie. My first few lessons). This way of learning meant it was easier to learn the manoeuvres and roads without necessarily thinking too much about driving the car. This was helped by being taught efficiently how to drive the car and the procedures that were involved in different situations on the road. The LDC driving workbook and DVD's that I was provided with helped me to understand each situation I would be faced with on the road and the information I would need to know for both my theory and practical tests. This alone made it important in my success. Together the high quality of teaching and the help given by the LDC course, which covered every single area I needed to know, were the very reasons I managed to pass both tests first time in 22 lessons.
