I began lessons with Derek after my brother recommended him to me. For the first few lessons I was very unconfident and struggling to grasp the basics, but Derek was extremely patient and I soon found myself driving well and confidently. I found the books and DVDs very useful, as they explained the LDC method of teaching very well, and it allowed me to study the things that I had learned during a lesson, as well as allowing me to prepare for a lesson beforehand. During the lessons Derek was able to give me many helpful tips, and I found his experience very reassuring. Derek was easily able to schedule my lessons around school and work, and with his teaching I was able to pass my test within a year. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wishing to start lessons.
