As an autistic person with high anxiety, learning to drive is not something I thought I’d ever be able to do. I’m finally learning in my late twenties with Jason, and so far the experience has been incredible. It’s hard to believe it was only a handful of months ago I was first learning to move the car. I’m now taking on junctions, third gear and roundabouts. Jason has been brilliant at reassuring me I’m safe whilst encouraging me to take on challenges and try new things. I find the LDC program really well designed, and have had much success using the workbook and learner hub online. You are encouraged to make your own goals and go at your own pace, which has been groundbreaking for me. For the first time, I have confidence that one day soon I’ll be a fully fledged driver.
