I had the pleasure of having Pete as my driving instructor before and after Covid. During our lessons he was patient, friendly, and supportive, always ensuring that I felt confident with my ability. I never felt pressured to do anything that I was uncertain about, as he always asked what level of assistance I wanted however, he knew when to push me out of my comfort zone. He was flexible and reliable with weekly lessons and allowed me to increase my hours close to the practical test date for extra practice. He had a well thought out schedule leading up to the test and prepared me with mock tests so that nothing was a surprise on the day. Going into the test, I felt reassured that I had secured all of the elements that could be asked of me. When the day came, he created an encouraging and calm environment as we made our way to the test centre, which ultimately led to a stress free test day with a positive outcome. As well as preparing me well for a test situation, Pete gave me the confidence to go out and drive on my own once I had received my license. I would highly recommend Pete to anyone looking for a driving instructor, whether you feel confident or nervous about driving, he will adapt to your needs and make it a positive learning experience for you.
