I always felt at ease when learning with Kelly because she was always so calm and patient with me. If I made a mistake or if I was unsure about something, she would talk me through it and help me understand how to fix it. What I liked was how she would put me into certain situations that I may not be as comfortable doing, so I can get as much practice in for future experiences. During my weekly lessons we would stop halfway and write down driving points on certain faults I made, and she would send them over to me so I can look over and reflect on them before the next lesson. Learning with Kelly built up my confidence more and more approaching my test. She was confident that I would pass if I kept doing what I was already doing, and passing for the first time with her as my instructor says a lot about how well she teaches.
