My driving lessons with Emlyn were very helpful, informative, and well planned. I suffer from anxiety and can be a very nervous person, but driving with Emlyn made me feel comfortable, calm, and safe. We regularly talked through my driving, focusing on where I could improve and what I could have done better. Emlyn is very reliable, kind, and patient. He has a great personality, is easy to get along with, and is always approachable. He is also very punctual, keeps you safe on the roads, and gives clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Leading up to my practical test, I felt very anxious, especially as it was my second attempt. The first time, I failed for using the wrong lane when coming off a roundabout. After that, I took more lessons with Emlyn, and we worked through my mistakes and the areas I needed to improve. On the day of my test, I was extremely nervous and worried about failing again. However, I was so happy when the examiner, Chris, told me I had passed. He was a lovely gentleman who helped keep me calm. At the start of the test, when I struggled to release the handbrake, he reassured me and remained kind and patient throughout. After telling me I had passed, we had a nice chat and a laugh about the test. Passing my practical test really helped reduce my anxiety and nerves, and I'm so grateful for the support I received. I would highly recommend Emlyn to anyone looking for a patient, supportive, and professional driving instructor.
