I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Richard. After starting lessons in Worthing, I struggled to find a test and then had a stressful time returning to university trying to find a new instructor for that area. Most didn’t reply to me or were fully booked. Richard was the one who got back to me and said he would do his best to fit me into his timetable as he wanted to make sure I got my driving license. This already says a lot about him. From the very first lesson, he was incredible patient, supportive and easy to talk to. He has a great way of explaining things clearly and his sense of humour helped calm my nerves. Even when I doubted myself he never did. He always believed in me which made such a difference to my confidence. Richard puts 100% effort into his students and always makes sure you’re comfortable and progressing. What really stood out was his dedication as despite teaching me in Telford, he took time out of his day to go to Newtown, Wales before my test to go over he roads and make sure I was happy with it all. That level of commitment is rare!! He doesn’t just teach you how to pass a test, he teaches you how to be a safe and confident driver for life. Thanks to him, I passed my test first time with zero driving faults. And the best part was I didn’t feel nervous on the day because of how much confidence he had built in me. I can’t recommend Richard enough. He is an amazing instructor and genuinely a great person!
