Ian took me from zero driving experience whatsoever to passing my driving test. Ian always made sure to show up five minutes early to each lesson, and would often finish a few minutes late to ensure he could properly teach me everything I needed to know. He never once cancelled on me and was willing to be flexible on days or times I was unavailable. Although I was quite a slow learner, Ian was always patient. We used the lessons in the LDC workbook and this really helped me. He never once judged or got frustrated with me, instead directing his energy towards reassuring me and working together to address the root of any mistakes I was making. This methodology took me from being a nervous wreck in the driver’s seat to being able to confidently and smoothly control the vehicle. Ian didn’t just teach me to pass a driving test; he taught me how to drive for life and how to use my own judgement on the road. When he was teaching, he made sure I understood not just what to do in certain situations, but the reasoning behind why I should do these things for the safety of myself and other drivers, improving my outlook on driving as a whole and ensuring I would be able to drive well independently.
