I’ve spent 11 months learning with Jon, I had another instructor before hand that put me off driving for years but Jon got me back in the car and gave me the confidence again to start doing it. I’m neurodivergent and riddled with anxiety. I found it really hard to remember everything I needed to do and panicked when it came to busy places and roundabouts. Jon helped me tackle all my fears, one step at a time he found a solution that worked best for me and rebuilt my confidence and driving ability, he really is an amazing instructor. My old I one would get frustrated and shout, making me feel uncomfortable this was the complete opposite with Jon he made me feel calm and when I did do something wrong he wouldn’t make me feel bad whatsoever and would assure me it was just a mistake I learned from it and wouldn’t make the mistakes again he is such an understanding, calm amazing driving instructor and honestly towards the end he felt more like a friend and our drives would just be full of laughter, I failed my first test not because of my drive or how Jon had taught me but because I let my anxiety take over and get the better of me. Jon was so supportive and told me it’s not the end of the world you did amazing you just made a mistake through nerves and we get up and go again and he had faith in me when I didn’t have it in myself, I got a cancellation for 3 weeks later and he was so accommodating and got me in as much as we could till the day. I was so nervous for the second test but he believed I could do it and that’s what I did! I passed! I couldn’t thank Jon enough for everything he has done for me he’s changed mine and my children’s life and gave us our freedom which I will forever be grateful for thank you so much Jon for everything you have done for me I’m glad I found such an amazing understand lovely driving instructor like you thank you.
