Learning to drive with my instructor John Copland was an incredibly worthwhile and rewarding experience. After a negative experience with a previous instructor, I was an extremely nervous driver who struggled with confidence behind the wheel. However, with John's patience, understanding and thorough teaching methods I was immediately put at ease and my driving experience was transformed into a highly enjoyable and positive one.

Being able to use my LDC workbook in conjunction with my driving lessons proved very effective. The book was well structured and enabled me to gain a greater understanding and knowledge of life on the road and behind the wheel. However, having a great instructor like John is vital in order for the LDC system of driving instruction to have such a profound effect on your learning.

John does not simply help you to pass your test but he also trains you to become an exceptionally safe and courteous driver, and the advice he has given me throughout the past year will most definitely aid me in all my future driving experiences. John also evidently personalises and adapts his lessons depending on each individual student's needs and requirements. John was prompt for every lesson and my driving time with him was never rushed. John even took the time to show me around the test centre as a way to lessen my nerves before my test day arrived.

John's consistent encouragement, positivity and professionalism were made evident when I successfully passed my test first time. This was definitely a result of John's extensively detailed lessons which ensured that I encountered no situation that I could not handle. I would highly recommend John Copland as a driving instructor if you are keen to be the best driver you can be!
