Learning to drive with Alan was an absolute pleasure. His serious patience and jovial manner on helped me no end during the journey to my license. Lessons became more enjoyable as my abilities improved, without his professional manner ever wavering - combined with patience, and the ability to tailor sessions specifically to an individual pupil, he is everything a good instructor should be. He was always happy to pick up and drop off regardless of the area, which was so helpful given my degree restraints and job. Each manoeuvre and driving skill was taught comprehensively as he was always happy to go over things until I was totally comfortable and ready to face a test. I couldn't recommend him more, as he's now not only my instructor, but a friend - an absolute gem!
