I can't thank Nick enough for teaching me to drive. I have been terrified of learning to drive for years (I'm 41). And I only wish I had done it sooner! The LDC system is fantastic. Nick came to my house and talked me through the theory tools (book and DVD) to prepare me for my first lesson. I'm not going to say I wasn't nervous on my first practical lesson, because I was - but Nick has a very calm manner and is very reassuring, so he put me at ease straightaway. Reading the first couple of chapters of the book and watching chapters of the DVD prior to my lesson, also gave me good preparation to understand how and why the car reacts as it does. Once I was over my nervousness of the first few lessons, I started to relax and enjoy learning to drive. Nick has an excellent talent for tapping into your learning style too -he adapts his teaching methods to each individual student rather than the other way round (unlike some of the stories I have heard about Driving Instructors with my friends/family members).

I passed my theory test on the first attempt with the learning tools I got from Nick and the LDC system. I believe it was the combination of Nick's calm and reassuring approach to teaching and the assistance of the theory tools (which I would review prior to lessons) that enabled me to pass my test so quickly (my Sister took 2 years/4 attempts with an instructor from hell!). I now feel confident and calm in the driving seat.

I would not hesitate to recommend Nick and the LDC system to anyone at all. It just remains for me to say a huge thanks to Nick for giving me my ultimate independence (not bad going to say my first words behind the driving seat were “you're not going to be able to teach me to drive - I'm too old!”).
