I had already failed a driving test with a previous instructor. Ian was very supportive and encouraging; he made his explanations very clear, particularly with the manouevres (with which I had struggled previously). The tuition was comprehensive including ensuring that I had prepared well for the "show me, tell me" questions. Ian kept a progress sheet that we reviewed at the end of each lesson; this was really helpful as I could see the improvement that I was making. I passed my second test with only 1 minor driving fault.
