More information about the driving lessons

Each driving lesson is a minimum of 60 minutes long. Please note if you live in an area where your local LDC driving school instructor may need to travel more than 10 minutes to meet you they may require you to book a 2 hour lesson or indeed longer. By booking a block of 10 hours worth of weekly driving lessons you will usually save at least £10 in total. Please note these lessons are spread over several weeks and cannot be provided intensively.

The LDC Driving skills DVD video set and Workbook can be purchased separately. Access to the LDC driving school instructor's online student learning hub/app is also available for Theory Test preparation. If you haven't passed your Theory Test your local LDC driving school instructor will be more than happy to assist you with your preparation towards it using our unique learning resources. Indeed they can monitor your progress every step of the way online along with you.

LD System of tuition benefits

By using the LD System you can help to prevent the usual problem associated with stop-start weekly lessons where you can easily forget from one week to the next what you had learned. It also provides the ideal reference material to ensure any supplementary practice with Mum, Dad or friends is complementary. Even if you book weekly lessons we would recommend you treat it as a course and book a driving test date to aim for.

Remember according to the DVSA's last major survey people learning to drive in the UK purchased on average 52 hours of professional driving lessons and take on average 14 months to pass the driving test. LDC driving schools believe this really shouldn't have to be the case and this figure should be closer to 30 hour mark and no more than 6 months.

Jackie is a very good instructor she’s one of the best and helped me come a long way in a short time and helped me become confident in a new style of driving. Richard is a very easy going but also consistent with the way he teaches to drive.
